Coach Norton was named Athletic Director / Head Football Coach at Lonoke High School in February 2022.   Norton is entering his fourteenth year in education, having spent the past twelve serving as a Head Football Coach in Arkansas and Louisiana.  Norton is a three-time conference Coach of the Year (2012, 2016, 2021) and a former Hootens.com / Farm Bureau 3A Coach of the Year nominee.

Here at Lonoke, Norton has been integral in growing and strengthening Jackrabbit athletics.  Under his leadership, Jackrabbit athletics has added a wrestling program and revived boys' and girls' soccer at LHS.  Norton is also responsible for bringing two AAA championship events to the Lonoke community during his time as Athletic Director as LHS hosted the 2023 4A South Regional Wrestling Tournament and the 2023 4A State Baseball and Softball Tournaments.

Norton currently serves as the administrator at the Lonoke Business Academy.  He has one son, Cade (16), who is a junior at Lonoke High School and a member of the football and wrestling programs.  Norton resides in Lonoke.  #GoRabs
